I am a Managing Partner and Private Wealth Advisor with OWL Private Wealth Advisors and have 20+ years of experience in the financial services industry. I began developing my financial strategies and growing my advisory practice at the Wall Street firms of Merrill Lynch and UBS Financial Services.
After nearly 10 years with the big firms, I established THOMAS Comprehensive Financial Consulting (THOMAS CFC) in April 2009 because I wanted to create customized and comprehensive solutions for my clients. For over 10 years, I successfully managed THOMAS CFC as both Principal and Financial Advisor. In January 2020, myself and Jeff Smith formed OWL Private Wealth Advisors to create a firm with greater emphasis on leading technology and client-focused goals-based planning.
Prior to my work in financial services, I completed my Masters of Business Administration (MBA) at the University of Notre Dame, Mendoza College of Business in May 2000. And before graduate school, I spent 7 years working as an engineer and project manager in the automotive industry, during which time I completed my Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering from GMI Engineering & Management Institute (now Kettering University). I continue to use the engineering analytical skills and project management expertise to offer an organized approach to managing my clients’ relationships as well as their portfolios.
I live in Bloomfield, MI, with my wife, Maral, and daughter, Olivia. I am active in the community having participated in events to benefit research for Breast Cancer, Juvenile Diabetes, and the American Heart Association; I have also built houses with Habitat for Humanity. I am a member of the De La Salle Collegiate High School Alumni Association.
